Good Fire but Dark,

Good Fireplace but very dark and doesn't seem HD to me. Needs to be redone.

If you're looking for a high definition version of a virtual fireplace, but don't necessarily want it to be a Christmas theme, this is the one to get. I bought it for a friend for Christmas and it turned out to be better than expected.
Not only do you get a Christmas fireplace scene complete with stockings hung over it, but you can also choose other fires like classic or modern fireplaces, a fire at the beach and even a gothic fireplace that you might find in a castle. You can toggle different themed music selections for each fire, although they can be goofy at times. The gothic one has a creepy organ which would be great to play during a Halloween party. The only drawback would be that each scene is probably about 30 mins long, or at least much shortly than we expected but the footage loops.

Doesn't play,

Very simple review. It doesn't work. Put it in my Sharp Blu-ray disc player, and nothing happened. Black screen. Re-booted the Blu-ray player, tried other Blu-ray discs to ensure that they worked properly, then put this one back in.... black screen. Doesn't work. Waste of money. Waste of time.
