Cons - The 6110 does not have slots to read memory sticks and other similar photo image storage devices. If that's a need, consider some of HP's other products, like the D series, or the 2110. You'll pay at least $...more for the photo slots plus the sheet feeder on a flat-bed. I didn't need them, preferring to download photos through USB.
And one final bonus, for me at least. The duplexer that came with my previous 970 is the same one that fits the 6110. So now I have two-sided printing (big paper saver) AND didn't have to shell out $... more for it.
Really happy with this purchase.
I was immediately pleased with the ease of use and the great quality of output. The scanner does a solid job and I have scanned and printed 5x7 photos that look very good (even without the optional photo ink cartridge that I haven't purchased as of yet). The small "footprint" of the 6110 really is what makes it a benefit to my home office.
I have tested this machine extensively and I have had no problems with the document feeder as other reviews have indicated. The print speed is amazingly fast when in "draft" mode, and even in "best" mode the print speeds are very quick. The only complaint that I have to this point is that the hinges on the copier do not expand, which makes photo copying from books more difficult.
Overall, I would give it a 5, but nothing is perfect.
