I understand how much work goes into putting a book together, but this is probably one of the worst books I've tried to read.

I'm a JavaScript/CSS developer, and wanted to learn more about the different technologies I can use to animate or draw stuff in my web apps. This book felt like a weird mix between a blog post and a reference book —not in a good way.

eBook Quality (I got the kindle version of this book)
The fonts were all messed up so it made the book really hard to read. For some reason all the font were bold and no matter what font setting I had, it was hard to read.

Examples Quality:
The examples included in the book were extremely poor and put together carelessly —or at least that was the impression I got.

The CSS code examples were pretty bad, using bad standards and poor indentation, which was a big deterrent to learn Canvas from this book.

Descriptions:
Again, it almost felt like a reference guide, instead of an introduction/tutorial to the technologies.

Overall Quality:
The book feels like it was put together in a week, by a hacker. It turned into a list of CSS properties and Canvas methods and defined them one after the other.

I don't know if I could recommend this book to anybody.
