Bottom line is it's a hard cover book. I like Hagar and I like my books to be hard cover. Yes you can get some of the stuff at some used bookstore in a paperback collection but I don't want that.

My favorite barbarian March 2 2011

Hagar has been around for many years and his strip is one of the few that has maintained its humor and fun throughout. This is a collection of his early strips and, while he has changed a little since these came out, he is still hilarious. This is a great book for anyone who loves the hairy little guy and want to relive some of the early chuckles.
Delightful book and nicely bound. Jan. 31 2014

I needed this book for my 12 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loves Hagar the Horrible. It is a Delightful cartoon book. Wish the cartoons had been in color instead of black and white, but that did not take away from the laughter.

Hagar is always fun; I have most of his books and wish I could find the Chronicals for 1975-6. Perhaps they were not published?

While I love these books, I have to deduct 2 stars because it does not include any Sunday strips.
