contains the most illogical and utterly ridiculous explanation for bringing back a dead villain ever seen on film (1.5/5), Nov 10 2007
this is probably the worst movie in the Halloween series.so far,it's
the last of the original Halloween series.unfortunately, there will
probably be another installment.for me,i think i've pretty much had
enough of Michael Myers.the last one(H2O)wasn't great, but at least it
tended in a way that guaranteed the death of Michael Myers.yet,in the
most stupid and unbelievable plot twist i have ever seen in any
movie, they find a way to bring him back.i still cannot believe the
ridiculousness of it all.beyond that though, this movie does have a bit
of excitement, but it's mostly dumb and even more contrived than you
would expect.i'm not sure if it's as bad as the Curse of Michael
Myers, but i think it deserves a lower rating, due to the dumbest reason
ever to explain the return from death,of a villain,or any character, for
that matter.i doubt i will live long enough to see anything as utterly
stupid and illogical as that.for me,Halloween:Resurrection deserves no
more than a 1.5/5

They should have called this film Jackie Ryhmes, Oct 30 2005
It was an okay movie but having Busta Rhymes play the superman
role definetly didnt help.
Like what were they thiking having Tyra Banks in the film
you see her all the time it completly kills the effectivness
of a horror film.
Any decent horror film will star actors youve never seen or
wont see again.
How can you get into the characters when two of the main ones
are world famous celebrities its absolutely retarded.
This film is lucky to get a 1 star.

THE HORROR FANS HAVE TOGO THROUGH!!!!!!, Aug 21 2004
THE HALLOWEEN FRANCHISE HAS A LOT TO ANSWER FOR. FIRST WAS THE COMPLETLEY RIDICULOUS 3RD INSTALLMENT SEASON OF THE WITCH, WICH IN ITSELF COULD HAVE BEEN AN ENTERTAINING MOVIE BUT INDEED NOT THE CASE. THEN CAME HALLOWEEN THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS, WICH ALTHOUGH I HAD SOME HUGE PROBLEMS WITH CERTAIN PLOT POINTS, KEPT TRUE TO THE SPIRIT OF 4 AND 5. H20 WAS UNDENIABLY A REWARD FOR PATIENT AND LOYAL FANS AND A PROMISING LAST EFFORT THAT WAS A FINE CONCLUSION TO THE DISMANTLED SERIES. BUT WAIT!!! THERES MORE!!!! HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION FEELS LIKE A FILM YOUVE WATCHED SO MANY TIMES YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY THINK THE CREATORS ARE REUSING SHOTS FROM THE PREVIOUS FILMS. THE OPENING SCENE INSULTS ANYONES INTELLIGENCE AND I GUESS SHOWS JAMIE LEE CURTIS' TRUE APPRECIATION FOR HER ROLE IN THE HALLOWEEN SERIES, WICH EQUALS TO MONEY AND CERTAINLY NOTHING ELSE OF QUALITY OR DIGNITY. SOMEHOW RICK ROSENTHAL SEEMS TO HAVE MADE TWO OF THE WORST AND MOST OBNOXIOS ACTORS IN THE FILM --BUSTA RYHMS AND BIANCA KAJLICH EVEN MORE ANNOYING AND TEDIOUS THAN ANYONE COULD EXPECT. THE END IS LAUGHABLE AND IT DOES NOTHING MORE THAN ANGER ANY VIEWR WITH EVEN THE SLIGHTEST INTELLIGENCE. ONE VIEWER DESCRIBED IT BEST, "WHAT HAPPENED HERE? DID A MENTAL PATIENT GET A HOLD OF THE CAMERA?" SADLY, EVEN A MENTALLY RETARTED PERSON COULD MAKE A MORE ENTERTAINGING AND INTELLIGENT MOVIE THAN RICK ROSENTHAL. DO BETTER!!!!!!
