About the Author
Eric Nylund is the author of many novels, including A Signal Shattered, Signal to Noise, Pawn's Dream, A Game of Universe, Crimson Skies, and Dry Water, which was a World Fantasy Award nominee. Nylund has a master's degree in chemical physics. A graduate of the Clarion West Writer's Workshop, he lives near Seattle, Washington, with his wife, Syne Mitchell. William C. Dietz is the bestselling author of more than thirty novels, including Legion of the Damned, Deathday, and Earthrise. Growing up in the Seattle, Washington, area, Dietz spent time with the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps as a medic, graduated from the University of Washington, lived in Africa for half a year, and has traveled to six continents. He has been employed as a surgical technician, college instructor, news writer, television producer, and director of public relations and marketing for an international telephone company. Dietz is a member of the Author's Guild, the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, and the International Association of Media Tie-in Writers.
