This book can help you so much with the game including Maps Info on the weapons, Vehicles, and enimies (it even tells you their ranks and how best to kill them) This is the key to victory over this game.

To be honest, a guide isn't neccessary to have for a game like Halo, but if you want one then there is none better than Prima's guide.

I found this strategy guide to be very helpful and easy to follow. I'd suggest playing through the game's easy mode without the guide, and then using it on the more difficult levels. But that's just my opinion.
