I've made pulled pork, stew, and a pot roast since I bought this. Cooking times were 6 hours, 8 hours, and 9 hours respectively. Many reviews often complain that their new slow cooker cooks too fast. What I have cooked so far have matched the original recipe times to a T meaning this crock pot works properly and at the right temperature.

For 30 bucks, you forfeit temp guage and a clock but if you want to pay more for that, go ahead. High/Low/Warm is enough.

A great slow cooker for someone on a budget. No complaints here, does what it's supposed to without all the pricey extra features. Was shipped very quickly. Have made ribs, chili, french onion soup, and roasts so far... all have turned out beautifully.

Does what it says ....... good capacity for 6-8 portions, place all ingredients in the pot, slow cook on low temp for 6 hours or so and 'hey presto' tasty stews!
Easy to clean, although pot is heavy & fastening strap makes moving safe. Great value too.
