Leader's Necessity Nov. 23 2009
By Kathleen J. Bard - Published on Amazon.com

This should be a required read for anyone in a leadership position or aspiring to be a leader especially in a church setting. Swindoll's style is easy to understand, always interesting and spiced with just the right amount of realistic humor. He has a unique way of bringing the Bible to life and applying it to our everyday lives and leadership situations. The book of Nehemiah is as relevant today as it was then.

An ageless classic March 12 2011

This book is beneficial for both those who lead and the ones who follow. These ancient principles are timeless and apply in our modern age. I am presently using this book for a ladies' Bible Study, and although most of the women do not see themselves as leaders they all have realms of influence that will benefit from a better understanding of qualities of strong leadership. Chuck Swindoll has an easy, readable style that makes this study flow with little effort.
