A good book of functional Hand Anatomy. Basic illustrations support well organized text. Includes diagnosis and treatment of common hand conditions. A good quick reference guide for the practicing Hand Therapist. Recommended reading by the HTCC in preparation for the CHT Exam.

No self-help information contained herein March 19 2014
By Silence Dogood - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The book is a reference for hand therapists and, as such, contains
many anatomical drawings of the hand with its muscles, nerves,
tendons, bones, etc. I gave it 3 stars because it brought to my
attention how complicated the hand is and how many different
injuries it can sustain.

Treatment, where noted, is directed at the THERAPIST. It is NOT
a self-help book. There are no illustrated or narrative-type exercises
for your benefit. A brief section on splints provides info on various
types and their purposes. It is not an everyday read.
