This is a complete comprehensive multvolume work on the physics, quantum mechanics, and nuclear engineering of heavy metals and their derivatives. The fission, fusion, and applied physics of nuclear engineering. The various world reactors are described from the bottom and up. LINACs, neutron, and proton beam applications are very well described, making this book an ideal research tool for radiation scientists involved with safety, storage, and disposal of nuclear wastes. The other appeal of this book is for nuclear medicine physicians, radiation oncologists, and particle physicists involved in uranium, plutonium, and other heavy metals. The books are written by the world’s leading experts on nuclear physics and engineering. Fusion is well covered as are the formulae in solid state physics. Nuclear physicists are the main group addressed by the experts. This is not a “how to” book but one on charged and neutron beam radiosurgery and radiation emission dating back to Einstein, Max Planck, Feynmann, Enrico Fermi, Schrodinger, and others involved in the history of nuclear physics.
