This book should be read by everyone, and especially those interested in the integrative hands-on healing modality and how it can fit into the conventional world. When reading this book, those knowledgeable about these subjects will find a common thread by other authors/books and a better understanding and substantiation will result. Other authors/books for those on the spiritual healing path are:- "Power Healing" by John Wimber, " "The Power of Divine: A Healer's Guide -Tapping into the Miracle" - by Tiffany Snow and "Quantum Touch" by Richard

I found "Hands of LIght" to be a dense read, with most chapters packed with so much information, I read them twice before moving on to the next. Brennan claims the ability to see auras, so, unless one also sees seven layers surrounding the human body as she says she does, it's difficult to assess what Brennan claims.
Brennan's great gift to energy healing is not so much her analysis of auras, however, but her deep understanding of how people work and how not to damage clients who are in a state of vulnerability. She's a thorough and responsible healer, and her advice is priceless. I highly recommend this book to anyone who's interested in energy work.

If you are a healer or want to be healed, these books should help. You may also want to put two of these books in your doctor's hands: The Power of Divine: A Healer's Guide, and Hands of Light. I read many books on various forms of healing, and alternative medicine, and I have found wonderful insights and practical how-to in each of these books.
