It's a month now that I ordered this item and I still don't have it. The vendor shipped me the wrong item, and then insisted that I return it to him...at my expense, which I did, and I'm still waiting for the correct item. Amazon's system has sent me two emails asking for a review...so here it is !! Very unsatisfied with this purchase.

Bought this item to plug a 2.5 mm male headset with mic into my 3.5 mm female cell phone plug. The mic does not work and the connection between the headset and the adapter is quite lose. When I attempted to try it, I couldn't be heard and had to jiggle the cords to be able to hear the other person.

Bought to use an older headset with an iPhone 4. Headset works with audio only, mic does not register with the iPhone and instead it uses the iPhone mic. The headset works with older phones that do not require the adapter so I know the headset works. I have not tested the adapter on other types of phones.
