OK, I suppose I'm a little spoiled by all the nice looking Blu-ray releases we've been getting of cult, trash-cinema, Eurosleaze, etc., but even for a DVD I found the picture-quality made this film difficult to really enjoy. I'm no A/V geek, but on a typical HD TV this DVD is full of obvious video\digital artifacts. If the cover didn't boast "Restored from the original vault elements" I wouldn't bother writing this review. It's certainly better than a bootleg, and I've seen plenty of old DVDs with this kind of PQ, but I've also seen plenty of DVDs of this kind of Euro-sleaze that look A LOT better.
As for the film, not much to add to the other reviews, but better to give it a rental first. I am enough of a fan of this genre that if a decent looking blu-ray ever surfaces, I would gladly give it another watch. But this film really needs a little better presentation to be worth puchasing on it's own, IMO.
I should add that I puchased this as part of the "Eurosleaze" box set when it was on sale for like $13. I haven't watched the other 2 films yet.
