You may be wondering why I bought this. I wonder the same thing. Well, I kind of have an idea. One, this book was $4 two, it was small book, big font and three, I like stories where the characters have to undergo changes and I particularily like the changes being rich/high-matinence girls going to camping or to the farm.

So I read this book after seeing, and actually enjoying, the movie (although mainly because I loved Miley's dresses).

There isn't much to say about this book it is short and practically a novella. It was a bit cliche and er, cheesy. That's not the authors fault, he/she just adapted it. And I do realize that this book is not geared towards my age group.

I did, however, think that is was refreshing and nice to read a book without all the sex, drugs and violence which is normally what makes a story interesting but it was a really nice break.

And yes, I will be reading more of Hannah Montana if only because it reminds me of Jen Calonita's Secrets of My Hollywood Life series.

A 4th Grade Student Review Feb. 25 2010
By Mollie E. Gabrielson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I was so pleased to read Hannah Montana The Movie. It's all about a girl named Miley who had a dream like everybody else. She goes to her home town in the country. There is a man who is trying to on lock her secret about being Hannah Montana. She and her friend Travis have a big (secret) crush on eachother. But she can't be Hannah and she misses being her. When it comes to the fund raiser to save Crowly Meadows (her home town) they need a popstar. Miley told Travis that she had saved Hannah's life surfing. So Lilly comes dressed as Hannah Montana. When Miley says she will go on a date but forgets that she is going to a dinner with the mayor. When it comes time she runs back and forth and everything goes wrong beetween Miley and Tavis, plus her dad is starts dating. During the fund raiser will Hannah fix her disaster on stage or will she have a hard life forever? Read this book to find out and all the other details in the wave of her secret. The book is just like the movie however I prefer the book because it gives a little more detail. ~Lilly
