About the Author
Mary Hoffman is a popular author who has published over 70 books, nearly all of them for children. She has three daughters and lives in Oxfordshire with her husband and two Burmese cats. Anna Currey has illustrated a number of successful picture books for children. Her classic watercolour style was the perfect accompaniment to the acclaimed The Macmillan Treasury of Nursery Rhymes and Poems (0 333 74165 X) and The Macmillan Treasury of Nursery Stories (0 333 76579 6). She lives in Corsham, near Bath.
