This is a great movie. I used to not like Adam Sandler back in the day, and because of this movie I became fan. If you like comedies and haven't seen this movie, get it. You will not be disappointed.

So let's just start off and say this is not an Academy Award worthy movie, but that was never the intention. "Happy Gilmore" is Adam Sandler at his best, and is, in my opinion, his best work. I've watched this movie probably at least fifty times and I still laugh out loud when I see it. Christopher Macdonald is priceless as Shooter McGavin and the supporting cast fit the film out well. I don't think you would be disappointed by taking a chance on this one.
