Harbinger, The [Paperback]

I found this book very interesting, well-researched and well-written. It gives 'much food for thought.' For example, How am I walking with my God? am I doing what I should be doing? Some areas were a little frightening BUT, while I do not live in the U.S., what is the scenario for Canada???? Someone needs to 'wake us BOTH up.' Both of our countries have been so highly favored by God. What have we done with His blessings?

This book reveals an important understanding surrounding the events of 9/11 and also the collapse of the financial industry in 2008. Keep in mind that its central focus is on the US but what happens with the US will probably lead to a new global monetary system that will either be steps away from the last days or be the finial world system before its end.

My issue with the book, though the material is interesting, I could have done without the story line. The story is mostly dialogue and it can get repetitive (which does happen when you talk to someone with a teaching gift). You can get all the information from the book by watching the video Isaiah 9:10 Judgment [Import]. Plus if you want some supplemental information that isn't found in either the book or the video, you will find the companion Harbinger Companion Study Guide, interesting as well.

From what I've been told, a friend of mine that actually attends the author's church, Pastor Jonathan Cahn believes if the US doesn't heed the warning, that the consequence of the shemitah will once again appear (which will be 2015). Which might be in the form of sever natural disasters or some type of destruction on a scale not seen before.

How that will effect us in the end is unknown but I would encourage everyone to also get How to Pray for a Financial Miracle. The title is a bit misleading in that it's a book that encourages a believer to seek after the Lord concerning His leading and direction when it comes to providing for ones needs. A valuable resource when you don't know what might befall us.

The second is The Roadmap to True Love: How to Find Your Soulmate. As the title suggests, it is a book for Christian singles but the reason for the suggestion is that in chapter 3, there's excellent coverage on the issue of knowing the will of God, which has actually been the best I've seen on the topic. This is of course important because we all need to be on the same page God wants us on.

You might want to also add these additional books to your library concerning the last days: Spychips: How Major Corporations and Government Plan to Track Your Every Move with RFID, The Invisible Crime: Illegal Microchip Implants and Microwave Technology and Their Use Against Humanity, BEHIND THE GREEN MASK: UN Agenda 21, Here Come The Black Helicopters!: UN Global Domination and the Loss of Freedom & The Israel Omen.

In addition, I'd also recommend getting Revelation Commentary: What the World is Coming To. This book does a great job in covering the entire book of Revelations and end time events, which is good for those that are clueless when it comes to this topic. Furthermore, the book is good for those that aren't novices to prophecy, for the author covers the various popular ideas that are out there when it comes to the last days. That of course is wonderful for those that like to understand all the back and forth that goes on with the different camps in the study of the field of prophecy.

You can see Gods finger prints all over every aspect of the Harbinger. This is a time to pray for America and for repentance to come to this nation. If there isn't a return to God then we may see 'The Harbinger II' the sequel which I really don't want to see happen.
