We purchased this case over the Survivor case. We've been using it for a month and have been very happy with it. We are hoping it saves our iPad 2 from our toddler!

The Gumdrop case was reasonably priced and had the features I wanted. It makes the Ipad 2 much easier to hold on to for my 3 year old, and because it has the integrated screen shield, it's well protected from any accidental spills. No one has dropped it yet, so I can't comment on how well it protects the Ipad from gravity.

The buttons work well through the rubber cover, and it's not difficult to access the earphone or charging ports.

With the Gumdrop case on, it fits comfortably into a 10inch netbook case which is nice since it doesn't have a screen cover for when it's not in use.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I got what I thought I was buying.

This is the best case on the market. I have dropped my ipad2 at least twice and no damage at all. It may add a little bulk to the look but it's the best product on the market to ensure that your expensive toy doesn't break that easily. Looking for forward to buyying the white version for the summer.
