This product is complete poo, it didn't let me transfer anything, and when i went to use my old Xbox it kept saying no storage device detected even though my hard drive was in the system. I'm pretty sure it deleted everthing off my old hard drive as well. I don't recommend this product at all. There's a reason on why its cheap.

This thing did not work for me, and I'm almost positive my HDD is not the problem. Better option is to buy it from Microsoft and not take risks with these imitations.
