5.0 out of 5 stars Play ball! Nov 7 2003
Format:Paperback
One of the hottest erotic novels I ever read. This one is filled with hot sex between baseball players that never fails to get you sweaty. The center of the story revolves around the growing love between veteran Tommy Bruno and the rookie, Tim Weare. Their love grows and they find the true meaning of team spirit together. If you love the boys of summer--you'll love this one!

2.0 out of 5 stars Good Sex... Little Else Mar 9 2003
Format:Paperback
The reason that this book only deserves two stars is because of the blown potential. If this book was written right, it could have come accorss as smoldering and sexy, but because of the sex with no plot, it just comes off as forgettable. This book follows a 40 year old baseball player as he, well, has sex with almost every member of his baseball team. The sex scenes are hot and very descriptive. The problem is that the characters in the book are so underdeveloped that it is hard to pictue what is going on. Hitman will introduce us to characters named, let's say, "Jeff" and "Dan", and before we even know what the characters look like, they are going at it. Also, the only real sex scene between the lead character and the object of his affection has a woman in it... which doesn't turn me on(then again, I don't have a thing for women).
The only thing that keeps this novel from getting one star is that the author knows how to write a good sex scene- but after you have read through this novel a second time, you'll wish you'd never bought it. A book with sex between baseball players sounds good, but don't bother buying this book, loan it from somebody. If it comes to buying this or not buying this book, don't bother.
