It seems that many publishers through the 70s, 80s, and 90s made a business out of manufacturing texts for every university course available. Rarely did a publisher produce something truly remarkable; more often the publishers would produce mirror images of each others' libraries. This music theory text is nearly identical in form and substnace to all the others which fill university bookstores throughout North America and Europe. What I mean to suggest is that it's as good as any but not better than you might find in a used book store.
