Review
CRITIC'S COMMENTS: "When Nancy Metzger's harpsichord method was published in 1989 it quickly became the tutor of choice for many of us who attempt to instruct "other" keyboardists in the subtleties of the harpsichord. It is a pleasure to report that the 2nd Edition of this fine instruction book is even better than the first ! ...Whether one proceeds from beginning to end of this well-organized method, or picks and chooses from the pedagogically sound examples, Nancy Metzger's book will aid immensely in the journey toward artistic expression at the harpsichord." - Larry Palmer, in The Diapason READER'S COMMENTS: "I have used your method...at the university (where I teach harpsichord and coach early music ensemble), with great success.: - Dean Billmeyer, U. of Minnesota "I am still enjoying using your book to teach people who are relatively new to the instrument as well as those who've studied for a while but never really learned to listen, or who have a lot of tension. It's a great resource. Thanks!" - Frances Conover Fitch, Early Music Dept., Longy School of Music, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
