Good for Beginng Spanish Students,

Found it to be great in my 1st and 2nd year of university (when I just started learning Spanish), however when trying to read books, it often doesn't have the words I need. This year I am taking a translation course, and I feel like this might be inadequate.

For a small book it has a large amount of information , including grammar. Do keep this book in your jacket or hand when weighing in at the airport where carry on bags are weighed LOL.

Too big & heavy to be called a pocket dictionary,

I was looking for a pocket dictionary to take on my trip to Mexico. This book is much too big & heavy to carry around. Upon my arrival in Mexico, I found what I was looking for, a mini English Spanish dictionary by Larousse. It's very small & weighs very little, can be carried in a purse.
