This was a sweet romance novel, predictable but great for relaxing. Dr. Hart has come to Safe Harbor and begins to fall for his nurse Gracie Adams. But things in this small town are far more complicated than they seem.

Matchmakers trying to match them up, silly girls chasing Dr. Hart, so Gracie & Dr. Hart team up and pretend that their engaged until things cool down and they can go back to their normal lives.

Gracie deals with what she wants in life, while Dr. Hart has to make a decision about staying in Safe Harbor or leaving it forever. Can he move on after his wife's death? Do you really have to ask? Its a love inspired romance novel, what can I say?

Its predictable but hey I liked it. These novels are great for when you just want to relax and read something sentimental and warm.

Both the hero and herion had issues about staying in Hart's Harbor. They both thought their duty lied elsewhere. Yet, the last thing either wanted was to date. He had lost his wife and daughter in a car accident. She felt she was called to be a misisonary, and blamed her parents for keeping her from it.

There was nothing earth shattering or really no adventure in this book, yet watching the two come together was pretty sweet.

This story was not as well written as other books I have written by this author, but it was still good in its own way. The plot was pretty predictable but the characters were intriguing and made me want to keep reading. Kyle was a man who is running away from the pain that he believes will never be gone he is on a mission to never love again, well until he meets Gracie. Gracie comes with her own set of issues and problems. She believes that she will never be any help to anyone unless she has gone out in the mission fields and worked like her parents. When the two of them hatch a plan they are sure everything will go there way. Neither Kyle or Gracie are prepared for what happens when their plan backfires and they must come to terms with the pain they have been holding on to for years.
