I love ghost stories and am easily frightened by them. I might not be the best person to rate the 'scariness' of the stories inside that book but most stories made me look over my shoulder nervously..!

The book relates many short stories...which aren't really stories; they are more like a record of facts or events. Each is never much longer than two or three pages and sometimes includes a picture of the haunted place.

I gave it only four stars because I found the ‘stories’ told with a lack of feeling of personality and also because so little is said about each story.
Overall I think it’s a nice book and is well written. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a short read about ‘real’ ghost stories or anyone looking for a place that is though haunted in Canada.

A quick fun book to read. The stories are only a page and half long or a little longer. Not too scary so even tweens would enjoy this book. Pair it up with Haunted Canada 2 and you have a great set.

i really like scarey stories and this book is perfect!! i bring it to sleepovers and people really liek them because theyre all TRUE!!! thanks for a great book!!
