HASH(0x9da66a68) out of 5 stars Nine short ghost stories for children June 17 2012
By Sarah - Published on Amazon.com
A very English collection of ghost stories for children. By far the most creepy are The Cracked Smile and The Other Room, which have ghosts exerting an unhealthy pull on the living. Christmas plays only a small role in most of the stories.

Jingle Bells (Tessa Krailing), The Woodman's Enigma (Garry Gilworth), The Weeping Maid (Robert Swindells), The Investigators (David Belbin), The Cracked Smile (Anthony Masters), The Other Room (Jill Bennett), The Chime Child (Ian Strachan), Crespian And Clairan (Joan Aiken), Across The Fields (Susan Price).
