This review is from: Healing from Within with Chi Nei Tsang: Applied Chi Kung in Internal Organs Treatment (Paperback)
The applications and theories presented here are good, but a reader may want to read some more basic works first, and gain a little qigong experience in order to truely appreciate it.

Excellent information,
By William P. Lambert - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Healing from Within with Chi Nei Tsang: Applied Chi Kung in Internal Organs Treatment (Paperback)
I have found "Healing from within with Chi Nei Tsang: Applied Chi Kung in Internal Organs Treatment" to be stacked with relevent information for the practioner and more importantly the beginner. It starts at the basics of the Taoist philosophy towards healing and how the abdomen and five major organs play a vital role. Not only does it give the basic techniques the author also outlines basic Qigong movements and meditations which complement the theory and massage techniques very well. Additionally it provides an overview of what a treatment might be like for the giver and receiver. Be prepared to have patience when learning the techniques and meditations as they cannot be learnt over night. It's not a quick fix but a genuine healing modality.

This review is from: Healing from Within with Chi Nei Tsang: Applied Chi Kung in Internal Organs Treatment (Paperback)
Before learning of chi nei tsang [belly button massage] I was unaware of the logic of the locus. All human bodies are attached to the mother and grow from the area which becomes the navel after we are born.Manipulating the energy [chi] in this area reaches all areas of the body [actually bodies]. Alas, we have to detox which means old hurts previously buried because they were just too painful come to the forefront to be dealt with. Old emotions are freed up to be digested and the useless parts eliminated. When the energy flows smoother, we feel better. The selfcare routine at the end of the book is worth the price. There are illustrations for working on another person. |
