Concise but thorough,

A lot of effort was put into writing this book. It is a workbook that selects core subject areas, discusses them, and asks some review questions.Having a solid background in the sciences, I find the book thorough as it assumes you're dumb but educates you to a great extent. For fresh high school leavers, it will not be a piece of cake as such because all subjects start simple but climax to the difficult ones. Also, I will recommend a frequent review of the content to satisfy the required body of knowledge for each examination. I recommend this book without any reservations.

The book has a good structure for setting you up to study, and provides a good base to help you decide what you need to study using additional resources. The main problem I have is a large number of errors, especially in the grading of the practice exams and review questions.
