4.0 out of 5 stars happy teeth are healthy teeth, Feb 5 2005
By Toni "the bookworm" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Healthy Mouth Healthy Body Natural Dental Program For Total (Paperback)
Dr.Zeines website is "natdent.com". He's been on Relevant Radio, and other programs, so even if you are not a herbal-type of person, what he says makes sense. Everything you need to take a more natural approach to taking care of your body, should include a more natural approach to taking care of your teeth. He feels that your teeth are a "window to your body" and he is so right; much can be ascertained from the health of your mouth. But don't assume that he doesn't believe in mainstream dentistry; to the contrary. But he does have alternative methods of treating your dental health that goes outside of the mainstream dental routes with which we have grown up. He is a licensed dentist, and he lectures around the country, so he's taken seriously, and so should you. You don't have to agree with everything, but just open up your mind and you'll find yourself intrigued by his explanations. He goes into how an examination of the teeth, membranes, tongue, and gums gives an almost detailed assessment of how you eat, which then gives insight into your general body health and lifestyle patterns. He'll offer suggestions for both you and your dentist/internist to consider when discussing your healthcare. So you really don't have anything to lose by reading his book, except poor health.
