Product Description

Review

“The storytelling has an easy mastery; the prose is lean and muscular, without a word wasted. How well Kent knows his stuff! Not just the jargon of the high seas — the pawls and maintops and the quarter-boats and the catheads — but the psychology of naval men in uniform.” —Sunday Telegraph

About the Author

An excellent story as are all books written by Alexander Kent ( Douglass Reeman ). I highly recommend his books to anyone interested in books written in the tradition of Horatio Hornblower ( C.S. Forester ). I have all of the Bolitho series and wish there were more . I am a new customer to Amazon ,but I will be a faithful one from now on.
