Product Description

Life can be shit. Love can be shit. Whatever has happened to you, whatever will happen to you, whatever might happen to you, whatever hasn't happened to you, well . . . you're not alone. Andre Jordan's drawings and prose are culled from a life of heartache and unrequited love. Simple, sad, clever, and darkly hilarious, they tell of both dismal places and hopeful realizations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesomely awesome book!, May 31 2009

This review is from: Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now (Paperback)
It is one of the funniest yet sober books I've ever bought. Light and funny and.. easy to digest it takes you through heartache, depression, loneliness and low self-esteem. I recommend it to anyone and everyone that's ever been dumped, had dumped someone else, hasn't done it yet, has done it way too many times, or is pondering starting to do it!

Dark, funny, sad, those are just a few words that sum up Andre Jordan's' "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable now. There are a lot of people who, at some point in their lives, relate to the situations contained in this book. The feeling of being unloved, unwanted and an outcast can take its toll. They say if you can laugh at your situation, then you are one step closer to being free of it. So if you want to experience the funny and serious side of depression, rejection and loneliness, this book is for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Witty Dark Humor, Dec 6 2010

This book is great, I found it humorous yet at the same time very depressing. This book is definitely not for those optimists out there. The book talks about depression, heart ache, suicide, etc. If you don't enjoy dark humor, I suggest that you stay far away from this book.

Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and took about less than half an hour to finish considering that it's almost like a picture book.
