Product Description
This is a new, heavy, large cast iron griddle. I is made of solid cast iron and can be used on a stovetop or BBQ. This griddle is reversible. One side is ribbed for grilling steaks, and the other side is smooth for making eggs or pancakes. A very high quality item that is very long lasting. Approximate Dimensions: 18" x 10" x 0 1/2".

Best Sized Griddle I Have Found

This griddle is much more generous in size than any other griddle I have found. The placement of the handles provides a good compromise of cooking surface to handle.
Since it lacks that grease channel that most other griddles have, you gain that in usable cooking surface. You don't need a lot of grease to keep foods from sticking to cast iron, particularly the griddle side. Also, other griddles have a slight slope to them for that grease to drain toward the grease well . . . which means, lopsided pancakes.
The grill side is also more evenly spaced than other griddles and makes for great panini sandwiches.
The preseasoning was acceptable, but all cast iron gets better with age and more seasoning. All in all, a great griddle/grill and great price. I use it almost daily. Only regrets are that it's not a little bigger to fit better over electric burners and that it's not an American made product.

Quality of product is very poor. Hoping that after seasoning and using over time I will have a decent griddle. This is the only griddle that actually fits on my gas stove. The size is perfect.
