It's nice to see that this show - the third episode of the debut 1969 season - is presented in its entirety from what I can tell. I'm a little disappointed that most of the performances appear to be lip synched, which I guess I never thought about much as a kid. A few I couldn't tell if the performer was miming or not. The transfer looks great, and the jokes are as corny as ever.Here are the songs:
1. Buck Owens - Love's Gonna Live Here Again
2. Tammy Wynette - Stand by Your Man (unfortunately was presented on the show in a truncated version, with Tammy appearing in a bright red sequin dress on the front porch step, sans live band. Still a good clip)
3. George Jones - White Lightnin'
4. Roy Clark - Caravan (this is my favorite clip. Somewhat psychedelic effects are sprinkled throughout this great live instrumental which shows just how good a guitar picker Roy is!)
5. Buck Owens - It Takes People Like You
6. George Jones - Walk Through This World With Me
7. Faron Young - Wine Me Up
8. Faron Young - She Went a Little Bit Farther
9. Tammy Wynette - Take Me to Your World

I really liked Hee Haw when it was on TV. I liked this DVD because it had a great program on it, and a few extras.
