The family liked watching this movie. Nice original story starring with Shirley Temple.

Not much else to say other than it was a good buy.

I must say the old movie is still as good as I remembered it as a child. My granddaughter enjoyed it. The condition it arrived in was new. Obviously it is not quite as vibrant in colour as todays bluerays, but they did what they could.
Still a good purchase for Shirley Temple fans.

The film also featured Jean Hersholt (as Heidi's grandfather) and Arthur Treacher as Andrews, the butler --- Heidi is an eight year-old cheerful Swiss orphan who is kidnapped by her cruel aunt who later sells her --- While Heidi's crusty-old grandfather searches for her, she brings happiness to the disabled daughter of a wealthy man --- Arthur Treacher, the comic English butler is definitely not in the original book, but he is hilarious nonetheless, bringing much delight to this warm and touching story.
