3.0 out of 5 stars Feedback On Help us get Mia, Mar 12 2007
By Susan E. M. Beaulieu "expert book critic" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Help Us Get Mia (Paperback)
When reading this book, as I do with any book, I read it with an open mind. After reading just the first chapter, I can tell anyone that this book is extremely poorly written. On going sentences, jumping around from one subject to another and the inabiliy to flow as a book should, fact or fiction. It is my conclusion that this book is about a family who could not see the side of their "sweet little daughter" that others saw. I will say, owever, that there definetely seems to be some serious problems with the Winthrop School Administration and the local police department that should not be overlooked. However to proceed and accuse the State Attorney's General Office, District Attorney's Office and the Kennebec County Sheriff's department of lying as well as the school and WPD incriminates that everyone is to blame, except Miss Mia Calgagni. I would safely say that Miss Calgagni is covering mistakes that she made and decided to go to any means, to say she didn't do something that she actually did. Question, Did she have permission from the characters in this book to use their real names and slander these young individuals? Answer, From prying a little into the situation, I would confirm that she did not have the permission needed. This young girl needs to grow up and face the mistakes she has made and stop blaming the whole world for her wrongdoings.
