I purchased this text for my hematology course in college. This book can be very difficult to read if you are not familiar with different medical abbreviations. I find myself having to reread the chapters a few times to understand the material. This text would be great if it were used with another text for further clarification. A great thing about this text are the reference ranges in the front and back of the book, they are very helpful and nicely placed. The chapters all have a case study based on the material in each chapter as well as a quiz and answers in the back. Good text for studying Hematology.4 stars because:
-Good book for basics of Hematology
-Sometimes the reading is hard to understand
