This book is a personal focus upon Her majesty and the life she has lived.
Brian Hoey is well informed, and has a skill in making facts interesting in a chatty, but not gossipy, way.

HASH(0xa14039e4) out of 5 stars A new look at the Queen July 21 2013
By JONJORJ - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I openly admit to being an ardent Royalist, and I do buy many books about the Royal Family. Sometimes I am disappointed, maily because they are all similar, just a different Author, same story.
This one was different, new material, written to make the reader think "what would it be like being the Queen" Yes, they live in luxury, but, if you were working basically every day, and the Queen does, at 87 she is probably the most amazing person in the World.
If you have any interest in the British Royal Family, this book is one you will love

By bruce gibson - Published on Amazon.com

This book is a copy ( almost ) of Her Majesty: Fifty Regal Years. The photos are not gloss and the new content, at the end, certainly does not justify the cost. It was my fault for not checking before I purchased. My added problem was, I paid about four times the value of the book for postage.
