5.0 out of 5 stars tremendous medieval romance Aug. 2 2006
By Harriet Klausner - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
They have known each other for years and secretly even loved one however, neither act on their feelings as both feel they are undeserving of the other. Lady Beatrice is the daughter of a traitor while Sir Ranulf is a landless knight estranged from his family.

By 1244 Ranulf knows he must escape her lure so when his liege sends him to command a castle in Cornwell he rushes off to begin the assignment. Beatrice goes to Cornwell to set up Ranulf's household, but he decides to make her run home with his lustful seduction, figuring he can control himself before he steps too far. Instead she seduces him. As they both finally admit their love for one another, his scandalous past returns with a vengeance while they battle deadly smugglers.

HERS TO DESIRE is a tremendous medieval romance as expected when the author is Margaret Moore. Beatrice and Ranulf are a fascinating pair as they deny their love, but those who know them like friend Constance and the readers realize otherwise. However, both wants more for the other so refuse to act on their feelings leading to a strong historical romance with the action coming from battling smugglers that enhance a wonderful vivid thirteenth century story line.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Story but missing that Moore Spice!! Oct. 2 2006
By Sultrygamer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Okay let me explain what I mean. For those of you who have read The Bride Of Lockbarr and The Lord of Dunkeathe you will know what I mean. The sex in those books was HOT!! but in Hers to Deisre there is only ONE sex scene and it is very breif. Why are there not more? I mean in the last three books at least it has been this way and I can't understand why. I mean the story is still good ya know I would recommend buying it because it is worth the money it just is not what her earlier books are at least in the spice department. I really like Ranulf even in the past book Hers to Command or was it the other one? anyway in one of those we see that Ranulf is half in love with Little Lady Bea already and you just know that his book is going to be good. Kept my intrest did not get boring and like I said very very good story line which is just like Margaret Moore just that well ya know one sex scene. I know I keep harping on this but I just excpected more hotness. I mean my mom can even read this one she ussually doesn't read my books cause ya know them being too expilict for her but she can read this one very tame but sill good!
