Having just found out at 42 years old that I've had adhd all of my life, this book was a joy to read. There's not a lot of books out there for adults to read about adult adhd. This book was actually very refreshing and made me feel not so alone in my adhd and all the problems that come along with it. I recommend it to anyone with adhd.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book for anyone who struggles with ADHD Sep 24 2010

My health practioner loaned me this book today, because I struggle with ADHD, and she thought I might be able to relate to the author, Kim Gay. I sat down to read, and just couldnt put it down. I really felt like Kim had wrote my life story for me. This book details exactly what it is like to live with ADHD, without making any of the usual excuses. It also compassionately describes the heartbreak that we feel when we know we are not living up to our full potential. This book definately gets two thumbs up!
