Product Description

When an unplanned stop on a deserted island gives Takashi, Saeko and the rest of the ragged band of survivors a chance to expose themselves to something other than zombie bites for a change, they're more than ready to take a break and let their hair down. Discovering the remnants of an old beach store, the entire group strips to swimsuits and sets out to make the uninhabited island inhabitable, but they're unaware that this seeming paradise is actually just the dead calm before the storm. Because sometimes the recently deceased aren't the only problems that can lie buried in the sand, and as the swimwear comes off and the inhibitions come down, a kink in the island's food chain sets a truly shocking series of events into motion! You won't believe what comes out next, but suffice it to say that the deserted island may not be so deserted after all! It's an extra special H.O.T.D. that's even hotter than usual as the naked and the dead come together like never before in HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DEAD - DRIFTERS OF THE DEAD!

This is a single episode in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. This episode doesn't have zombies. It does have very large cartoon bosoms with near nudity in the episode (minor nudity in prologue). The kids act out some kind of fantasy due to smoking fish. It looks like it would be a great series, but have priced themselves out of my range. I will wait for a price drop to watch the entire series.

A good episode, but very short, and no real conclusion. Only needed about 2 to 4 more minutes to give a satisfactory conclusion to the OVA. You pretty much have to use your imagination as to how it ends. Best bought with the entire High School of the Dead series. I have not seen the HOTD series, but will definitely look for a sale on the complete season on Blu-ray.

I love the first 1 season and all, but I don't really feel like the price of this dvd was worth getting one (yes one) extra episode, WHICH only leaves you hanging for season two......which is no where to be seen....literally the end of the episode one of the characters tells you to wait and tune in for season two. So your call.

Love the series, and was curious about the OVA. Once I watched the OVA, it was no exception. But be warned, the OVA has a lot of fan service.
Even though H.O.T.D. did not do well in Japan, it did well in North America and Europe hopefully they make season 2. Doubtful, but there is always hope.

Unless you are a fan of the series and are collecting it, I wouldn't bother picking this up. It is only 15 minutes long, which when I purchased it makes it about $1 per minute. Also the zombies get about 30 seconds of screen time.

Enjoyable and entertaining as the series. A episode made for the perverted fans. Shame it's only a single episode and maybe a teaser leading up to another installment of the next season.

Not bad, fun to watch but short with little to add beyond the OVA. If the price is right, it's worth the mony - don't overpay for it, it's a short OVA and that's it.

great ova for the series since there will be no more apparently at this time. kind of like a "where are they today" for the characters from the show.
