One of the better "helper" books....,

This is one of the better books for getting a little help with Pre-calculus.A little help, I say... I needed a little refreshing on... Synthetic Division, Rational zeros/real zeros, a+bi, Descarte's rule of sign, real roots, and rational functions (hor/ver/slope asymptote)... The only item it talked about from the above listed was Descarte's..I believe... Each item that it talks about only gets one example. I am not happy with this book. Schuam's book on Pre-calc looks a little better. I personally believe that there is not a Pre-calc book out there that is worth 4 or 5 stars. I wish that there was...because I need it!

...on page 34, Problem 6-8, the answer given to B is what happens when 8E-8 is divided by 4.3E-5, but the problem asks the reader to multiply the two numbers, thereby obtaining the answer 3.44E-9 instead of the book's answer, 1.860.

The book arrived at the specified date, was well packaged and was not damaged in shipment. It will be used by a senior high school student in Ghana, West Africa and he has received the book - their school year just started. He is very happy with the book and believes that it will be very useful for him during his next 3 years of school. Thank you for your help as these books are needed but not available for sale in Ghana. If anything more is needed, I will know where to look for the item. Thank you again.
