This review is from: High Strangeness: Hyperdimensions and the Process of Alien Abduction (Paperback)
This book, quite frankly, freaked me right out. In a good way of course (hence the 5 stars), but make no mistake - it will lead to a few sleepless nights. The author brilliantly researches fortean material bringing in multiple real life accounts and places them all within a cogent framework of the hyperdimentional nature of our reality. Ghosts, alien abductions, encounters with other-worldly creatures - all fit tightly within an explanation that is so mind-expanding, you won't be left the same afterwards!

This review is from: High Strangeness: Hyperdimensions and the Process of Alien Abduction (Paperback)
Having been interested in UFO and paranormal phenomena for a long time, I have always found many of the theories behind the reasons for abductions, crop circles, and what role 'aliens' play in the grand scheme of things on our planet as suspect. Following a curiosity as to the actual intent behind many of these phenomena, I read books and watched a number of interviews/television shows dealing with the subject.
However, I was never truly satisfied with the answers that were brought forth. Once I read this book, all of that was put to rest. The author put's together an incredible amount of information, coupled with her own experimentation in superluminal communication, and pieces together these phenomena in a cohesive narrative. It's a truly harrowing book that plumbs the depths of paranormal/UFO phenomena on our planet and for that reason, not for the faint-hearted.
Going into detail, she explains the concept of hyperdimension's as a means of these beings interacting with mankind, as well as discussing why abductions occur, and the end goal for these beings. Many new-age teachings expound that alien's are our friends, that abduction's are okay and to be accepted, and that aliens are here to help us ascend in some way. This book blows those assumption's out of the water with crystal clarity.
I would recommend this book to anyone who really want's to get to the bottom of the alien phenomena; to understand the true meaning of it and the implications for mankind.
