This is truly a wonderful recording. Whether used as mood music for backdrop or as an intense meditative tool, it demands as much or as little from the listener as he or she wants to give. No bleak penance music here, Hildegard has the gift of creating absolutely beautiful music that is surprisingly uplifting in the face of its gothic simplicity. And Sequentia handles the material exquisitely, allowing space where space need be and filling the tune with tones that will resound through every atom of your being.

This is one of the most radiantly beautiful CD's on this planet!The genius that was Hildegard of Bingen will stun you with its beauty. She was a truly gifted and divinely inspired individual.When you put this CD on you are literally transported to another place. A place inside of yourself, a place of intense inner peace. You will feel your soul fly with these glorious melodies.You WILL experience the Divine Mother/Father when listening to this CD.And ofcourse, applause must go to the incredible Ensemble SEQUENTIA for bringing this beautiful music to light again after 850 YEARS!Do yourself a favor and purchase this CD, it will make you FEEL GOD in all Her glory & beauty.

It is amazing that Hildegard von Bingen's music has managed to live through so many centuries. It is perfect music for meditation and introspection. It is soft and smooth. It brings you to another level. It increases your vibration and I even listen to it in the car.
