This book has its likes and dislikes. The plot is a bit cliché; a typical story with at twist where a couple of teens are out fooling around when something terrible happens and they become horrified. In this case, four friends are out practicing their driving when one of them hits a man. Since neither of them have their licenses, they drag the corpse to the side of the road and drive off. Soon enough, strange things start happening to each of the four friends. Since the plot is cliché, my interest wasn't captured until nearly halfway into the book, when the twist starts to appear. I really liked the ending and was really surprised by it. So many things come about that I never would have guessed. It was very interesting and sometimes even thrilling to find out what was going to happen next. However, it was very hard to get into the book. This was about the fourth time I've picked it up and tried to read it; my attention just wasn't there in the beginning of the book. You need a lot of patience to get by the first five (which are short) chapters. As you read on you get pulled more and more into the story then, soon enough, when you feel as if you could never put it down, it's over.
