5.0 out of 5 stars highly entertaining, Mar 15 2008

67 different Top 10 lists are included ranging from best players (by position); draft bargains and busts; biggest, smallest, oldest, and youngest players; and even the craziest fans. I bought this for my husband, who is a hockey broadcaster and trivia buff. He knew some of the stuff, but still laughs at the stuff he didn't know or forgot he knew. I like the explanations of players nicknames and stories about crazy owners. It's fun to pick up and read a list or two. It is indexed if you are looking for a certain player. Lots of fun for the fan!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good for trivia, Mar 5 2012

The book is basically a list of a lot of little known facts about the coolest game on earth. While there were some errors (Like calling Zdeno Chara a Czech, when in fact he is a Slovak), for the most part I would consider this book an excellent read for anyone whol loves trivia, hockey, or both.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice read but has some factual errors, May 11 2011

I like the book for the most part but noticed some errors mostly concerning the Chicago Blackhawks. Author wrote Stan Mikita was a right wing for 20 years (He actually was a center). Author also indicated the MPH line was Stan Mikita, Jim Pappin and Bobby Hull. It actually was Pit Martin, Jim Pappin and Dennis Hull. I enjoyed the book though
