Only the first 20 chapters Feb. 10 2014

The description does not specify what chapters are included in the studyguide. I rented it thinking that is was the entire book (chapters 1-28) but it is only the first 20. I just purchased the comprehensive volume studyguide (chapters aren't listed on that item description either!) so hopefully that is right. If you are only taking Tax 1 this studyguide will be fine, but I'm Tax 2 so I need the last chapters. Luckily Amazon lets you return rentals for 30 days.

there is a short summary so that you at least have a good idea of the chapter highlights Aug. 13 2014

This is very helpful if you are studying for a Taxation class. It has lots of sample problems and questions. Plus, if you get pressed for time and cannot also read the entire chapters, this will be a total lifesaver. For each chapter, there is a short summary so that you at least have a good idea of the chapter highlights.

The book is very helpful if you try to understand the the I R Code in question answer form. The summary on the front of each chapter helped to understand as a whole, that is not possible with original text book.
Really helped understand taxes June 5 2013

This book was a great supplement to my tax class. Taxes are so convoluted and hard to understand, this "Cliff's Notes" version really helped weed through what you should have been getting out of the class.
