This review is from: Holmes on Homes: Bathrooms (DVD)
mike holmes, the king of home reno made right, is canada's answer to houses and apartments that have been either constructed poorly, fixed badly, or just built by someone who tried to make a buck and do thing either not to code or barely code...when homeowners take the time to put money aside and re-do the all important "throne", it doesn't take a genius to know that if mike is on the case, it wasn't done right! nails thru wires, water sources near electrical outlets, pipes just placed and not connected... what's next? the moral here... make it right the first time!

My husband loves Holmes and Homes and we own several of the Holmes on Homes regular seasons (season 1, season 2, etc). Purchased this one because he thought it would give him some extra insight/tips/tricks/etc for working in bathrooms. Turns out that this DVD is just a collection of some of the regular Holmes on Homes shows that feature bathroom remodels. So, all the episodes on this DVD are ones that we already have on other DVD's. Kind of disappointed that the content isn't anything different. If you don't own any of the full-season DVD's and only want to see some shows about remodeling bathrooms only, then purchase this. It is the same great Mike Holmes quality remodeling jobs. But, if you love Holmes on Homes (like my husband), then spend a couple more bucks and buy a season's worth of the shows and you'll end up getting the same content as what is on this video plus more.

My wife and I watched this DVD in preparation for selecting contractors and being ready to review their work before we remodeled our master bath. Very helpful and the terminology was quite useful for us.
