Wow.SPACE ROCK! deconstructions, man-outta-mind, on-Mars rhythming eastern pensive-intensive jamming. Not much diversity to the album, but if the songs were any shorter it would lose its effect (it propels you outward instantaneously.) This works so much better than most other instrumental future-rock ensembles. If Godspeed only didn't have that chamber orchestra tone to it, I would then have to pick Homb over GYBE! This is their pinnacle of space, however. It's refreshing to know that they are in no way reiterating anything they've done before. Their newer stuff is space-folk yet this is space-trance-rock.

Excellent mixture of flutes, drums, guitar and bass into a powerful cinematic maelstrom. All instrumental. Very disciplined and beautiful. If you like Eno and classical music with a taut undergirding of drums and bass, this is your album. Highly recommended.

Wow, this is my first album from Cerberus Shoal and I have to say I'm very very impressed! Their use of textures is incredible, no instrument overplays the others they all just work perfectly in harmony to create a smooth,lush and beatiful soundscape that flows together like a waterfall. They sort of remind me of a mellower Godspeed you!black emperor(one of my favorite bands). I'm still in awe of how good this is being that I bought this album on a whim-was recommended it and liked the cover art. I also have to mention that "Homb" is now one of my favorite songs(every other song is almost as good). A worthy purchase for any fan of music!
