A Lovely Christmas Treasure about House, Home &Hope,

I watch this movie every year on the W network in Canada and have been searching for the DVD for years, year round in fact. I am so excited Lifetime finally released this. I hope they release On the 2nd Day of Christmas as well.The movie centers around Julia, a suburban mother & wife, who finds out that her husband is cheating. Julia ask for very little in the divorce settlement and finds herself in a new part of town, with a new job and the new challenge of making her daughter feel comfortable. As Julia struggles with all of this, she becomes a victim of crime and loses all her savings. She finds herself homeless and living in her car. With a lot faith, hope and help from new friends, Julia sets out to build a new life for herself. The pressure to put herself together grows when she learns her daughter who is on exchange in Spain wants to come back for the holidays. Linda Hamilton portrays Julia with such honesty. She is perfect for this role. A lovely film that reminds us how things can change so quickly for any one of us and when times are tough, the things that matter in the end are true friends and family. I think especially this holiday season when so many folks are struggling, this movie will give many inspiration and hope.

Among the slew of holiday movies each year there luckily emerges a few that are worthy of repeated viewing and recomendation - Home by Christmas is such a film. Atho this story is not suited to younger family members , as it is geared to an adult audience, teens and up will find it hits home (pardon the pun) and leaves one with a very modern take on hope, touching on true Christmas values. The actors, notably Linda Hamilton, make this a must see and own offering.

I first saw this movie on TV a few years ago, i was so excited when Amazon had it for purchasing. This is a great Christmas movie to put anyone in the mood to be happy for what you have in your life and to share and be greatful for family and friends.This movie is about a mother who finds out her husband is cheating on her and she's the only one who couldnt see it, she stuggles to be on her own, living with no money, trying to support her daughter and find a job, goes from having everything to nothing and sleeping in her car. Finds a another women in her position and they get though things together, making frinds along the way. They both eventually get back on their feet and start there own business together. Very happy endings.
